Being a person of color is no problem!There are many wonderful books that with the particular struggles of children of color: their hair, their skin, or gaining acceptance from other kids. What we don't see often enough is children of color JUST being kids! The One Big Word series teaches fun, wacky, or poignant concepts featuring children of color as main characters dealing with the things that all kids do.

The One Big Word series teaches kids how to wield the power of words! Each word includes an interactive experience that helps to reinforce the concept, coloring pages, and a YouTube channel that shares some word-related fun.
